I have been a regular at the Saturday class and Cecilia has been frequently to the Monday class. The classes are great as each week it is different poses in a different sequence, this keeps it interesting as you never know what to expect next. The classes are friendly and easy going and really well paced to suit all levels of experience. If you are a first timer this is a great place to start as you will not feel embarrassed or under any pressure. You can just work at a rate that suits you and enjoy the benefits that yoga provides. Anne is great a creating a relaxing environment for yoga and also takes the time to provide individual support and encouragement wherever she can.

My flexibility has improved dramatically since starting and I love the way the class really challenges you to try new things and push yourself to your personal maximum.
The thing I've noticed most though is the improvement in my exercise outside yoga. I ran a 10k 5 years ago and during the training suffered with no end of problems with my left knee, after the event I gave up running opting for lower impact sports. Recently I decided to give a sprint triathlon a go, which would be my first return to running in 5 years and I was pleasantly surprised! I have had no problems with my knee and can only put this down to the yoga I've been practising.

It is excellent for building strength and flexibility, is relaxed and a safe place to get it wrong. I feel great afterwards. My 19 year old daughter enjoyed it too. The weekend just isn't the same if I can't get to Ann's class!

I joined Ann's class about a year ago and have seen a definite improvement in my flexibility over the year. Ann is a great teacher for novices as she demonstrates the poses well, but makes sure you understand what to do if you are not yet very flexible. Most poses have different 'levels' depending on how much you can manage at that time (or on that day). Ann is also good with advising you if you have an injury or other problem that may affect what you can do in class. There is variety in the routine from week to week, so the class does not get predictable or boring. We have a mixture of women and men and I have even persuaded my husband to come along. The class is informal and friendly and a great way to start Saturday morning.
